Changing from BTto EE wil I keep my old BT landline number

I came to the end of my BT contract and re contracted with EE. As I already have BT digital home phone I kept this with EE. Because there was nothing mentioned about landline phone numbers am I right to assume I will keep my Current BT number

@Colin_He Did you have BT take care off your move from them to the EE side, that is the preferred way and BT organise and do it all, if you have ANY correspondence from EE or BT have a look to see about the landline side, if not double check with the BT Guide call first that is the case and your number is going over to EE. 

If you do not do this then do not be surprised that they inform you number NO and you are never getting it back.

Hi thank you for the reply. Just had an email from EE overnight. The landline information was in that along with other activation information. I am keeping my old BT number
