Caller display stopped working on digital home phone

I moved to EE in August 2024, and everything went well until the callers display stopped working on my landline in June 2026. I have contacted EE twice and worked through all the resets advised. The problem was in both cases identified as a network problem and passed up to the network team, who were supposed to have checked the line and I got a message saying it was working. It still isn't working. The first person I spoke to said they couldn't see my digital phone on the system despite it being plugged into the back of the hub. It is an old Panasonic phone - but the point is, it worked fine for nearly 2 years, then stopped overnight. I can receive and make calls - but very frustration not knowing who is calling. Why can't someone from EE explain why this has stopped working all of a sudden instead of just referring it on to a team wich cannot solve it.

No I realise that, but am wondering if anyone has had similar experience and had a resolution. I have already spent hours on Chat & speaking to EE who said it was a network issue . Ringing up is only possible if you have an hour to spare. If you go onto chat, it takes ages before you get to chat to a person not a BOT, which doesn't understand your problem - and there is still no resoluton at the end of it.  Hopeless customer service.

@SueU-52 What EE Hub are you using for your DV connection to the back off that one? Linked below if you need to go look.

Thanks for your response. Its the EE Smart Hub 6  and the DV is plugged directly into the green socket at the back. The phone is a panasonic and an old one - but caller display was working fine until June, then it suddenly stopped working. and EE have not been able to resolve this or tell me why.

@SueU-52 Rather unfortunate timing to say the least as that EE Hub was going through a torrid time with FW updates that EE dropped the ball on, would suggest 1st, take your phone if you can to any one you know and plug it in to there connection and see if CLI start's to work, that will at least prove the Panasonic is still working and getting line info at the start off the call. If it does then you are in the hands of EE/OR to work out what is going on, not an easy task for you or them to sort out....

Not going to advise you to do any EE Hub reset's as have know idea if you are able to do so or recover from the drastic measure.

My panasonic's are a good 7 years old, but i do not have any EE connection and the voip CLI is fine with no issues.

Would if you can and not using the Internet currently switch the EE Hub off, but it will need to be a few hours and the it may path a little different to the EE server's, worth a try.

Thank you very much for taking the trouble to try and help. I will give it a go. All very frustrating and time consuming.
