Hi Yeah, I understand that now. But I didn't know there was an outage and I just stumbled across the forum after I panicked and didn't know what to do. I was just annoyed at the fact I had no idea what had happened.

In future now, as long as the net is working, I will revert to the forum before any rants.

However someone did say that the problem I had could not be connected to the outage as it was the day after.

Anyway, I'm now beginning to understand how this all works and what to do in the future and hopefully there  I will find some kind of info.

Hopefully, this won't happen again. Well at least not too often. I also understand now that it may NOT have been EE's fault.

Thank you.

Good afternoon @tlibra10.

We have a wider thread with a range of customers all reporting similar queries at the moment, so we're trying to keep these to one place.

Your original post has been moved here, and I would recommend keeping an eye on this thread for any further updates.

Peter

I Looked but still can't find it. Anyway, why can't I get hold of amyone
from EE?

@tlibra10 I've had a double check and your posts are definitely showing on page 6 of the wider thread I linked in my above post 😊

Yeah I found it. But no-one here can help me.

I am going to try to leave EE as I don't like the way you can't contact them.

Just an Update.

My phone is now working. God knows what happened.

Still don't like a "Non Contact" with EE so still going to leave after my contract has expired.

Thank you everyone.

@tlibra10 , there is a network problem which EE are trying to fix, that is why you cannot contact them. Everyone is in the same boat, but feel free to leave, if you are on contract you may have to pay the rest of your contract, but if on pay as you go, then nothing to pay, just remember to get a PAC code.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
It's just that I had NO IDEA on what had happened and had no way of
contacting them. I was just given the runaround by a "BOT" I just want to
call a human at customer services. The message also said that someone would
call me to let me know what was going on. They never did.
I just feel that tis is a bad customer service.
I will not break my contract, but if by the end of that contract, if
nothing is any better I may still consider leaving.
I had no idea what was going on.

Make sure that, when you're considering alternate providers, that you contact each of them to ensure you're happy with their CS methods.

You'll very likely find that every provider has a short-dial for contacting them from their own network, and an "off-network" number that can be dialled from any phone. If there's a fault with the telecoms provider that runs their CS lines, then that can easily knock any company offline for customers trying to contact them.
