1571 service problem

PSwain

My internet service was recently upgraded to "full fibre" and the engineer from BT set up my existing BT landline phone to use the new connection.  Since then my phone has worked quite well most of the time, but the green light associated with the 1571 button is flashing all the time as if there is a message waiting. However, whenever I dial 1571 I hear a message saying that there are no messages in the inbox. How can I correct this, or is it something that can only be corrected for me by EE or BT?

Get someone to leave you a VM on 1571, listen to it & then delete it. Does the green flashing light go away?
