Hi is this for Device upgrades also with EE?

If your an existing customer with EE and paid your bill on time each month with no issues are you able to upgrade to a new more up to date iPhone/Device when this current one is paid off and due for renewal in 2027? Do they not credit check you again for renewal and device upgrades???

Would I be able to upgrade to a new device in 2 years time and stay on sim only? Or do I need to get a flex plan to get a new iPhone on contract.  ? I’m very confused with it all.

if my credit has been damaged since being on this current contract even though EE are not included in my debt solution program is their a good chance I will not be able to renew and upgrade to a newer phone in 2 years even if I kept up with the payments since taking out this current contract in 2024 and I pay via direct debit and I intend to make the full payments on time every month until it has been paid off and I intend to do that when I upgrade also in the future. I never want to be without a phone or a contract. I’m just very worried and concerned about my options in the future.

Hi there @Rosieann1994

Thanks for coming back to us.

I would suggest giving us a call on 150 at the time you want to upgrade as full checks will be carried out that are required and the team will go through all the upgrade options for your account. The options you will have available are not something we can advise on the community.

Our Flex Pay Explained Help page has more information on the Flex Pay for devices credit agreement.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.
