Long story short(ish)… Back in March of this year I was online looking at ee contract upgrades (sim only) as our family account has 3x numbers that I look look after. Having been with ee for quite a few years, there was plenty of upgrade options.
In what now seems poor judgement I called ee and spoke with a guy who offered the same deal as online and I upgraded two of our three numbers to newer plans that included eu roaming. My new plan… iPhone all rounder also included my Apple Watch that I was paying separately for on my old sim only plan… The guy advised as the watch was now included with my all rounder plan and would continue ads seamlessly, wrong for the remainder of March, April & part of May it refused to work unless my iPhone was also present.
in May I finally spoke with someone who advised that I had to take a new contract for the watch at £7 and the £7 would then automatically be refunded.
June came and the £7 charge was there (+ part of May) but no refund…. I called ee and spoke with a really nice lady who apologised and advised she would apply the £7 credit and next month the usual £7 charge and credit would be applied as it should be.
Julys bill arrived and the £7 charge was there again but no new credit… just the £7 the lady advised in June… in summary March to May = no service for the watch… part of May, & June I’ve paid £14.68 in total and been credited £7 only for the watch.
I called ee last week and spoke with a guy who said he has checked with his manager and the iPhone all rounder plan I’m on doesn’t include a watch?!
I said I have screenshots of the deal and confirmation the plan includes a watch… even saying why would the lady I spoke with in June say it’s included… he said they would have to do a ‘call listening’ and raised a complaint and would call me back in 48hrs… it’s week tomorrow and I still haven’t heard anything!
really annoying as I said why don’t you listen to the original contract upgrade in March, when the guy told me I didn’t have to do anything to continue with my watch service… and lost two month of service!

I'm sorry you haven't had the call back you were expecting, have you had any texts to ay the complaint was closed?

Thank you Lesley, yes at lunchtime today I received a text saying the complaint is now closed!!
still on with ee via message trying to resolve again! 😬
