double charged for roaming and on two phones instead of one!

I was ill in hospital from dec 23 rd onwards for two weeks with a heart attack. I have only just got round to examining my bills and find that not only have I been double charged for roaming when I was in hospital here in the uk, but for two phones instead of one!

My son did set up raoming on his phone and I accept he probably didn'tsend the stop text  due to me being on death's door, however that doesn't excuse ee charging for BOTH phones nor the fact that they charged DOUBLE FOR BOTH PHONES. when I requested a refund they offered a £50'good will' refund. My bill is normally just over £25 per month for a family  3 sim account.

I was charged £79.61 and then £129 for december and january

If your son bought the Roam Abroad Pass @£25 per billing month for you & never stopped it, you will be charged even if you weren't roaming as it's just an add-on. As it was on your a/c over your billing dates you were charged for at least 2 billing months.

Also worth clarifying that the roaming facility is free of charge - your issue is with billing add-ons to reduce the cost of roaming.

It's immaterial for you, but "I've paid for roaming and I can't use my phone abroad" is a common issue on these fora, largely caused by this confusion.
