Awful customer service

Just had an appalling experience with customer service. Was looking to pre-order the Samsung S23 Ultra but working out the costs over 2 years, a new EE contract was more expensive than dropping my tariff down to Sim Only and buying the phone outright...

Billing

Hi, I transferred over to EE from BT and only had the phone for two weeks (if that) they have taken a bill payment out my account today but I've also paid BT this month is this normal for EE ? 

Increase in monthly charge

Increase in monthly amount to more than£30 when I have my own phone and only need EE SIM. I’ve been a customer for many years. Seems unfair and now thinking if changing my provider. 

Bill payment

I have a direct debit setup on my account. However, I changed it recently, and I am not sure of the account that was going to be debited, so I made I payment. The estimated amount is 71 pounds but I made 72. Will I still be directly debited?
