Hi,
I am looking at add a family member to my account so I can gift data and purchase her a new sim only contract with her keeping her current phone number. What is the best way to do this?
For information we are both EE account holders.

You need to conduct a legal change of ownership, whereby responsibility for the phone in question is moved from the donor to recipient, and the line becomes part of the new pay-monthly-billing account.
Follow the "transfer to a friend, colleague or family member" section under https://ee.co.uk/help/profile/manage/change-my-account-in-the-case-of-a-life-event - if necessary, CS can start the process with the donor, and the recipient then calls separately and quotes a password to complete the process.
