Why are they so expensive?

I've been trying to upgrade but the cheapest contracts are more than double all the other providers.  Can't believe that there aren't any contracts under £20 anymore!  It's for my daughter so I don't want to spend a fortune but it looks like shes going to be leaving EE.

You've not said which phone you're looking at - this would also make a difference - but I don't recall any handset-plans ever being below £20/month.

A low-end phone with a budget provider may just scrape this, but this depends what your purchasing criteria are. There are numerous SIM-only plans within your budget, if your daughter's existing phone still works and there's no need for an upgrade.

Haha ok yeah a contract with three is half the price..........same handset, same minutes and data.

Hi @magicpurplefair I'd hate to see you leave us as a customer over price.

I'd recommend giving our upgrades team a call, if you haven't already, then they can see if there's any deals that they can tailor to your needs.

If you dial 150 from an EE phone, then select options 1, 4 then 2, a guide will go through some options with you.
