Hi, I cancelled my contract with EE after two years. Fully paid off my phone, then immediately applied for my PAC code to begin my transfer on 02/03/25... I was given 30 days according to the text I received to transfer over to my new provider or my contract would continue. I am quite literally a single working day out from finishing the transfer process (waiting for my PAC to be approved and transferred by new provider, this takes 2 working days according to them) and a direct debit of a whopping £101 was taken from my bank account today. Granted it was taken on the day where my usual direct debits were scheduled (12th of every month), but from either today or tomorrow I will be fully transferred over to my new provider... really? Will this be fully refunded to me upon my transfer? £101 is a ridiculous amount to still be paying in this economy for a single day of service if even that.

@vernon_ The bill was sent in motion around 7 days before it was paid. you got the pac once the minimum term was up so you went in to the next month on a 30 day rolling contract so that required a payment.
You could have requested the pac in the last 30 days of the contract and ported out before the minimum term so wouldn’t have been charged for the following month. Of which you’ll now be refunded up to the port out date.
