Upgrade..showing 1 month contract

My daughters phone is coming to an end of contract. Contract has been for 2 years so not seen the new plans before and showing as a 1 month contract for her? Can some explain what this means, sorry if sounding a bit daft. And need help on which plan is best for a 17 year old haha x thank you all...image attached

@sjjo80 That means you can change the contract to a different one after 30 days. I take it you have EE broadband, it’s because you have broadband you get one month contracts instead of being tied in to 24 months contracts and they are much cheaper.

What is it that you don't understand? Basically the dearer 1 is with uncapped speeds & the cheaper is capped at 100 Meg. Otherwise they are much the same with free EU roaming & data gifting. The dearer 1 also includes 1 Inclusive Extra & provides you with priority access for data in busy locations.

Hi, does that mean after the one month if you don’t upgrade the contract will just continue? And if so will it still be the same price?
