Upgrade issue

Recently moved over from BT mobile to EE. Looking on the EE app at details of my SIM only contract there is a section that says I cannot upgrade because I have not finished paying for my phone. This is completely wrong, I bought this phone and phone before it directly from Google, so it belongs to me. I don't know where this came from as when I was with BT there was no such comment.

@MrDufflecoat : It'll be for some other reason. You can't upgrade from SIM-only to a phone contract until you've had the SIM-Only contract for 6 months.
