Upgrade anytime with a broken screen and insurance

Good afternoon,

I have a samsung z fold 6 at the moment on an upgrade anytime plan with insurance.

I dint like this phone and my next free upgrade is july but ive cracked the screen on this phone,i know i can send it to be repaired under insurance but i was wondering if when i upgrade in july i can just pay my insurance excess and upgrade the phone for free or will they charge me more than if i just got the phone fixed before the upgrade?

@Saffybowbaffy   You need to get the device fixed first,  trading in a broken phone is still trading in a broken phone.  Your insurance excess doesn’t mean it can be used against a trade in.
