Upfront deposit not refunded

I took a contract phone in December 2021, I paid 100£ as deposit was told it will be refunded after 6 months. I am still waiting for this refund. Any help?

Was the deposit for roaming and calling abroad?

Are you able to check previous bills around June/July 2022 to see if this was released on your bill.
