Hi, why is it unable impossible to upgrade your phone online, when you go onto the EE website or go through MyEE to upgrade, it says you can upgrade and you follow it through and then you get to a page with 3 options with one of them Upgrade online, you select that and it doesn't do anything.
And by the looks of it I'm not the only one and it's been happening for a about year, my friends were unable to upgrade online too for this same very reason.
What is the point of having a website and an upgrade service on it if nobody can use it?
Either EE is doing it on purpose to make people call instead or EE has failed to fix this glitch.
I can see numerous posts with loads of people complaining about the same issue since at least December 2020 on different forums.
And yes I've tried the suggestions from the old posts on EE community and nothing works.
So please can someone report this fault as when I do call EE to upgrade I was waiting nearly half an hour in the queue on the phone and 48 minutes a second time and gave up!

Are you on a phone contract or a SIM only contract at the moment? Are you in contract or out of contract?

SIM only in contract but says I can upgrade and have had lots of invitations.

In this case, please call us on 150, the team can raise a support ticket for your My EE account if needed and help you upgrade.
