I've just purchased an upgrade. There was absolutely nothing at all during the selling process stating that I needed to trade a phone in. When I saw the confirmation message on the website with my order number I noticed it stated I had to send my phone in.
My confirmation email has nothing regarding trade ins
I've been in touch with EE who couldn't help me as they can't find my order details.
Realistically what can happen? Will I need to cancel the order? I've paid a massive upfront fee for this phone too.

Yes, if you've selected a trade in offer but would like to keep your old phone, I'd recommend contacting Customer Care to cancel your order.
