What happens if change my mind about early trade in for upgrade

I have recently upgraded early from Samsung S24 ultra to the s2 ultra, i only had 1 month left on my contract, but upgraded early do to an offer to claim a watch. I think the guide told me if i did not send my phone back i would have had to pay just over £100 ( which i di not have at the time), My question is what happens if i now decide to keep the phone rather than send it back? I have had no discount added to my account for the trade in.

Would it be possible to have the £100trade in charge added to my bill and keep the phone or will they charge me more.

Thanks

@GemmaH004  providing you’ve had no discounts towards the new tariff then you’ll be expected to pay the hundred pound if that’s what you was told to keep the device.  Obviously this payment will have to be paid in one go.  So you’ll get charged for the new tariff and this device.   The cost might not be on your first bill as that will depend on when that is and to allow time for the none return of the device so you should expect it on your 2nd bill but again it depends on when you are billed and failure to return the device.
