I have received £231 of charges in 1 month to Sony D. EE will not help me and tell me to call the billing company… they cannot do anything about this either. I do not even have a PlayStation. We do not have any text of these charges absolutely nothing at all, what can I do? …. Before they cut me off for rightfully non payment

thanks

Yes, apparently it will go back on this month or next month billing depending on when my billing is. Thanks!!!

Agreed. It’s really irritating and it’s not a small amount of money so grateful for all the help and advice x

I have just found out today that I have been charged £39.99 6 times too. I have spent the day trying to get in touch but no luck

Hello @DeeHirani3.

Thanks for coming here.

Do the charges show they have came from Sony?

Are you aware of any purchases made?

Speak soon,

Katie

From memory I believe it said Sony PS. We don’t own one and my son didn’t have an ap or anything like that related to Sony play station, so the charges were def in error.
Hope that helps.

Why is this company still running?! They are literally stealing people's money! Happened to me on 14th January and am currently fighting to get it back. Having huge trouble contacting Boku, and EE can't offer any help as the issue is with a third party! If I can't contact Boku, next step is Police!

I have had the same issue and all in one day! What did you do to get this rectified

Contact EE and notify them, they are unable to do anything but they can raise an investigation on the amount an temporarily remove it from your bill until its rectified.

You will then need to contact  BOKU - 08081202341

support@boku.zendesk.com

I called, sent an email and submitted a request to make sure i got a response.

It can be a long process though, they are hard to get in contact  with.

Good luck 👍🏾

Soooo it was quite a chore and took a lot of chasing and time unfortunately but I did get a full refund in the end. EE said it was Playstation who took the charges (weird as I don't own a Playstation!), Playstation said it was Sony, and Sony said it was a company called Boku who take payments on their behalf. They said Boku can take payments using only a phone number which I didn't think was possible!

Anyway, I've attached the email address I used to contact Boku. I had to send several emails to even get a response, then on my final attempt I threatened Police involvement and put 'PENDING POLICE REPORT' as the subject of my email, and then they replied the same day and processed my refund!!! Funny that! Anyway, good luck!
