I have received £231 of charges in 1 month to Sony D. EE will not help me and tell me to call the billing company… they cannot do anything about this either. I do not even have a PlayStation. We do not have any text of these charges absolutely nothing at all, what can I do? …. Before they cut me off for rightfully non payment

This has happened to me and EE are no help which is shocking seeing as it's happened so many times.
I'm not sure what to do.

I put in a refund request to BoKu , which is the company that processes these payments and was given a refund by them. EE won't tell you this, they tell you to speak to Playstation who are even worse than EE in giving you any information.
The systems EE have in place for allowing these payments is atrocious. And when something like this happens they want to wipe their hands of any responsibility..

I have exactly the same issue as the other notes here. Sony appear to have taken money, EE appear to have let it happen - Either way it is fraudulant behaviour- Also the website you mention goes on and offline. What are EE going to do to help with this please - as you passed the payment through / just went on with out it.
Basically - its just under 160 pounds that has just been taken / stolen.
How are EE going to help!???

Thanks for coming here.
You would need to contact Sony direct for these charges to be looked into, we have no account access here on the EE Community to be able to look into what was purchased.
You can also stop the ability to purchase things online through your EE bill by texting BAR to 150.

Hi has anyone had any luck with getting these charges removed? We have had Sony app £39.99 x 4 added to our account this morning and no PlayStation etc or Sony account of any sort. I need help to getting these amounts removed and EE business services have been on no help just giving me the number for Sony to call. Anyone who has had any success- are you able to advise or @Customer services? This is critical on the business account and needs sorting. With thanks.

Although the charges show on the mobile bill, they're actually billed from the authorised 3rd party.
What did Sony say when you called them about the charges?

Hi, there was no interest at all. All very apologetic but nothing they could do.
Ive put a stop to third parties being able to add anything to my account by texting BAR to 150 but now I need to try and get the money back from them. So frustrating! We don’t even own a Sony ps! And def won’t be doing now after this.
