Sim only tarrif has increased by £8.20 monthly with no explanation

My sim only contract has increased by £8.20 a month. I was paying £20, now £28.20 which I think is ridiculous for what I get for that. I want to change to something more reasonable

@Tstephens469  was the tariff you’re on discounted for a period of time ? do you have any out of allowance charges ? you would need to look at your bill for this.   EE doesn’t just increase the bill for no reason.  
 

if you’re eligible to upgrade even to a cheaper tariff your EE account will show that you can.  You cannot  lower your tariff price mid contract as your contract is for that set period time

Which month did the increase to £28.20 start? Did you have an increase in the same month the previous year?
