Sim only deal now have two numbers

My partner went on-line to upgrade to a sim only deal, did via ee website. They sent another SIM card so she is now paying for two contracts. She called EE last week and got through to a chap in Ireland who was more interested in why we voted for Brexit than sorting out the problem, he said he would try and he promised to call back the next day but didn’t. She then phoned yesterday and got a lady who couldn’t sort it but promised a manager would call, no one did. What do we have to do to get this sorted !!!

Your partner has (almost certainly) inadvertently ordered an additional subscription rather than changing the priceplan on your existing line.

Your new contract will come with a 14days cancellation right of return, which I'd recommend using.

You can then change the priceplan (confusingly called "upgrading" on myEE) on your existing line to whatever plan you want.

@bristolian : "Upgrading" is not the same as "Changing your price plan".

  • Standard upgrading is when you may change your price plan and/or handset to any price plan, more or less expensive. This can normally only be done within your upgrade window from 45 days before end of min. term.
  • Changing your price plan, midterm, is when you may only upsize to a more expensive price plan.
