Sim only contract upgrade

Hello there,

 

I’ll soon be out of a 24 month contract and I’ll be going onto a sim-only 24month contract. Should I decide to upgrade my phone within that 24 month period with EE would there be any issues with the existing  24month sim only contract or would it be a straight contract swap over?

@Phillipm90 : Having already come from a handset contract to a SIM-Only contract you will then be able to go to a handset contract at any time.
