Hi EE Community,
I have the EE sim only full data package including roaming abroad (in 70+ countries or whatever the quantity is now) I have travelled extensively even inn the pandemic and this has proved a useful package.
I do not need the foreign use for the next 12 months so would like to remove it to reduce costs and probably switch it back on again in 12 months time, is this possible. My plan renews in August 2023.
If not possible is there a contract exit fee that might work out cheaper to pay to switch to another provider therefore making this a straight forward calculation of saving Vs exit fee.
Thank you Gary

@Highbury999 : As you took your contract out after 07/07/21 you can only have inclusive roaming abroad in EU + 5 other countries when you have the Roam Further Pass. If so, you can stop that at any time by texting STOP ROAMING PASS to 150 & save £11.40 pm.
Cost of cancelling or upgrading early will be Monthly Fee x Months Remaining, pro-rata to the nearest whole day, of contract term - 4%.

Hi @Highbury999
Do you have a old Max plan or Smart plan? What is the add on called?
You'll likely need to speak to EE CS on 150 as there is no account access on these forums. You will need to speak to then to give 30 days cancellation anyway.
Thanks
