My wife and myself are due to finish our 2year contract with 3 we were trying to see who to go to 

1) can you keep your original number

2) is there any discounts for working for BT and now openreach

Yes you can keep the number if you get a PAC from your existing network and submit this when you place the order or after you receive the phones/SIM cards.
