That isn’t the question asked though. How can we cancel the Difect Debit and set up recurring payment authority to charge to a credit card instead?

It doesn’t give an option to enter credit card details though!

Hi @Ade1701,
Sorry, recurring credit card payments are not accepted.
If you'd like to pay with a credit card, you would need to make manual payments each month.

@Ade1701 : You need to cancel your DD with EE & then you can pay manually each month by the due date with a bank card.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Incorrect. Recurring card payments (were) are accepted.
I have one set up, hence why I said "are". "(Were)", cos Iv been trying to change the card to a different card, but can no longer find the options to do that.
@Ade1701 , I'd suggest calling through to EE directly. I'm about to do that myself.

@WhoKnows05 : I think you are talking about PAYG. We are talking about contracts.
On PAYG they are now known as "Direct Card Payments".
