Re: How do I switch to paperless billing

Is there no way to switch to paperless bill online? My letter from EE says I can.

I've just had a letter telling me I'm just coming out of contract, and when I look to upgrade there isn't an option to go to paperless billing when I sign up there either. Time to look elsewhere, me thinks ...

If EE really can't be bothered to develop a bit of s/ware to allow switch to paperless online, surely EE, the easy (for you) way to offer this is on renewal or a new contract. It's becoming clear now that you actually don't want your (valued?) customers to so this as it'll cost you money.

OK, my contract has ended - since there has been no resolution on going paperless online, and EE's SIM only prices are higher than the competition, after being with EE sincve the Orange days, I'm off to Sky for half the pay monthly price and a much higher data allowance.

Bye everyone.

In the same boat. Was looking to go paperless. I think EE should be taken to court for not being environmentally friendly for not offering an easier way to go paperless.

In this day and age it is appalling. Profit before environment.

Hi @BaptisteDigital

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you get in touch with our Mobile Care team, they will be happy to help.

Thanks.

Leanne.

Hi all. I started this chain, and I keep getting emails from EE telling me ho many people I've "helped" and that I now have "a gold star" or something.

How can they spend all that time on this community thing, tell me how wonderful I am, and still do nothing to make going paperless simpler. Just incredible!

Andy

I think it's fair to say they spend no time on this community thing (probably spent it all on Kevin Bacon) and it's all automated, which shows how little they care about customers. I wouldn't mind but I'm not even with EE any more and still getting these patronising pats on the back for my "contribution to the community".

Community Spirit: Taking a moment to mark a post as helpful is a fantastic way to say thanks. Good work!" tragic really.

They clearly don't want to make it easy to go paperless - others have suggested it is too much of an earner for them.

Such a pity - I'd been with them since the Orange days.

For a company this big not to be willing to sort this out, it is staggering.

Hi @Mi-key,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

If you'd like to cancel your paper bills, please get in touch with Customer Care.

Thanks

James

They need to be taken to court and sued. In a way it's like being miss sold PPI(similar kind of thing). Seems nobody want's paper bills anymore but it is basically forced upon us.

I think, if you have photographic evidence of EE saying you can switch to paperless online, you should raise the issue with the Ombudsman service.

Address is here:- https://www.ombudsman-services.org

If enough people complain, maybe EE will change their criminal ways.
