I was due an up raged in April 2022, however i didn’t get it upgraded because i didn’t see that i was due an upgrade . My contract started again and it now ends in 2024. I have had this phone for 2 years so far , and now another 2 years has been added on to the contract . Is it possible for me to get a new phone which i was due in April or do i have to wait until 2024?

How could your start again for another 2 years if you didn't upgrade? You must have done something to make it so.
These mobile contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel, upgrade or port your no. away.

@mariambhayat100 , as @XRaySpeX has written, the minimum term is for two years and then it is up to you to either change to a sim only contract or upgrade with a new phone or continue as you have. If you have not upgraded in any way, then you can upgrade to a sim only or contract with a new phone.
I would suggest you ring customer service and speak to them, they can take a look at this for you, this is not customer service and there is no account access.

It won't have continued for another 2 year term. What makes you think it has?
As your min. contract term ended in April, you are now on a rolling 30-day contract & you may now upgrade it at any time. Simply login to your online MyEE & choose "Upgrade Now".
