Over charged for Apple Watch Plan

I’ve just seen my first bill for my Apple Watch which should be £22 a month but I have been charged an extra £16.00 on top of the £22. I’m confused as I only thought I was paying £22 a month for the Watch not not £38!! Can someone explain why there is an extra charge. Thank you

@SullyK2210  You are also paying for the period of time that you’ve got the Apple Watch until your first bill was raised and then you’re also now paying for the month ahead.   Your next bill will be the price of £22.
