Hi guys just wondering if anyone could help me, I’ve recently found an old EE bill from 5 years ago on my credit file I want to pay. I can only see the last 4 digits of the account number and after phoning EE they cannot locate the bill using my address on the account

Any help greatly appreciated

If the outstanding payment is from 5 years ago, there's a good chance EE will have passed it to a DCA (Debt Collection Agency) and marked your credit file as defaulted.

I don't know if EE have any facilities to accept payment from defaulted accounts as the debt will technically now be owed to the DCA. Have you received any communicated from any DCA?

I haven’t had any communication but the account has my old address on it so
presumably it will have went there. The debt is 4.5 years old according to
the credit file

Any idea what to do next

Sorry forgot to mention, according to my credit the file the debt is still with EE. No mention of DCA

Got through to billing at EE. DCA is EP Financial Solutions but cannot find their details online
