Not allowed to add 2nd sim to my new account?

2 problems. 

1) Why am I getting a notice stating that I'm not allowed to add second sim on my next sim contract?

2) If we do fix the first problem then can you tell me why it states I will get 20% if I add another sim YET on my account its states 10% discount.?

@IMBLOODYSKINT  some tariffs offer up to 20% discount when it’s a 2nd line.  

you’ll have to speak with customer services about taking out a 2nd sim and why your not being allowed too. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks chris. I ended up buying 2nd EE sim from same money saving website and I got a text message from EE shortly after asking me to call them to confirm a few details, which I did and while on the phone I asked about the EE advertised 20% off with 2nd sim vs 10% qouted on my account and the EE rep checked and confirmed that I would get 20% off the 2nd sim so worked out great in the end.

I have this same issue.

 

my wife and I were both on another network.  I have just moved across to EE and activated my new sim yesterday and set up my myee online account.  I tried to purchase another new sim only account so that I could start transferring my wife across as well and received the not eligible message.

 

I will give it until the weekend to see if it corrects itself then try phoning customer services.
