Non Trade In Charge

Hello

I'm on the Upgrade Anytime plan and have recently upgraded to the 14 Pro Max. I have received the following email not long ago:

If we don’t receive the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max 256 by October 07, 2022, any trade in discount applied will expire and a charge of £495 will be added onto your next bill. This will appear as “Non Trade In charge”.

Does this mean I can keep the device for £495?

Thank you.

Hi @marcelb1

Thanks for coming here.

To check the charge to keep the iPhone, please give us a call on 150 and the team will let you know if this is the full cost to keep the iPhone.

Leanne.

Thanks for your reply. I have spoken to someone at EE (via 150) today and they claim the price quoted in the email is the price that I would be charged to keep the device. The agent that picked up said he couldn't possibly check the termination fee and he also checked with the upgrades team and they said the same. They advised me to stick to the price quoted in the email and that I should be fine as the price is in written form.

Does this sound right?
