Did you mean:

No more great deals?

Out of contract so decided to do the usual upgrade chat, expecting a great deal..

Hmm, guess they are no more 😞

As expected, the 'first' offer was poor (cheaper but a basic, slow package not comparable with my current plan), so then I got passed to the next team, you know, the one where you get the better 'customer retention' deals, but alas it was more expensive than what I am paying now out of contract, like where is the incentive to sign a new contract?

Isn't this supposed to be the other way round?; the first deal was the good one for price albeit it turned out too slow for me, the second deal worse ££.

I was confused so just ending up asking for PAC code.

I really wanted to stay with EE so am surprised at the poor deal, in fact the offer was just the website deal so the chat to agent was almost pointless, they didn't even offer me a new loyalty discount. Thing is, I can easily beat the 'deal' so my assumption would be EE are no longer bothered about customers' like me (over a decade with them, maybe more).

Andy.

Hi @ballista

Why do you have to upgrade. Are you unhappy with your current plan/deal.

You'll receive 10% off after 3 months.

Hi

Well, the plan gets dearer every year so I wait until end of contract then try to negotiate a new cheaper contract, that's what I have always done, otherwise it keeps going up and up
