New phone contract

Hello bascially I’m a new member on EE. I placed an order on the 22nd September and it’s all accepted. I bought the IPhone 16 Pro Max which is a 4 week delay. What I’m wondering is that will my contract start when I receive the device as it says I have a payment due on the 2nd October. Meaning I’ll have to pay 2 contracts whilst I pay off my old O2 contract. I’m just wondering to see if the contract will start at a later date which will give me time to cancel my O2 contract and pay off any existing amounts with them? Just don’t want to be paying 2 phone bills.

We take full payment once the items are dispatched and on the way to you.

 

On some occasions, we instruct our suppliers to ship an item directly to you and this would be the only occasion we take the funds from your card or payment provider before having the items in stock.

 

On rare occasions, the system can take payment in error. If this has happened, please let us know and our Customer Service team will resolve the matter for you.
