I have just been advised that if I take out a new contract that I will need to not pay my monthly bill when it comes in but that I’ll also be charged an extra months contract fee which will be refunded at the end of my contract. This is absolutely ludicrous. I’ve been with EE before they became EE and were Orange. I’ve got both a mobile and Apple Watch on contract and you are still trying to get an extra months money out of me for signing up to s new contract. Where has loyally gone?

Your query seems unclear, but billing is always done a month in advance. This applies to both new & existing customers.

Which is equivalent to paying a month in advance at beginning & having already paid for the last month at end
= a 24 month contract only requires 24 monthly payments.
It's always been this way with most networks.
