New contract phone and sim plan

Before I activate my new phone can I change my sim plan as I had the plan with unlimited data and I didn’t mean to select unlimited data only unlimited text and  calls

You can't downgrade to a cheaper plan mid-term, but only in your upgrade window from 30 days before end of term. However if you ordered online or by phone you may cancel the order FoC before or during the statutory 14-day cooling-off period from delivery & then reorder what you really want.

@Loz245  You’ll be required to return the device under the 14 day cooling off period.  You can’t just change the tariff now you have the device. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
