Am abroad and hardly using my phone, just whatsapp on wifi. No minutes no data. Need to either change my number to pay as you go or downgrade to the cheapest rolling contract. Not sure why I am on £40 a month, not even in contract.

Migrations from pay-monthly contract to PAYG can only be completed within the UK, and even then you would need to give 30days notice to cancel your contract by calling CS.
If you're outside your minimum term, you can request a change to a SIM-only plan via your myEE online account.

Please help and tell me how can I change my plan to pay as you go or explore downgrade options on the web and not on phone,
