I just used the EE app on my smartphone and tried to pay my bill by manually typing in my debit card details. This was a new card and I needed to enter the details before I could pay (you can choose to save the card later on).
I clicked pay and it said Natwest had declined the transaction. This was not due to me having too little money, but a security thing actioned from Natwest. I rang Natwest and the agent said that the Bank had decided that EE's payment system was not secure enough to allow a payment to be made!
This was a new one for me. Frustration and protection all at the same time! You may need to use a different card or method of payment. @Billing

I've not known any issues with payments being made through the EE App, but can certainly get this flagged.
Was it a broadband or mobile connection you were using here, and do you have any VPNs active?
