Assuming this is a mobile contract.
Your contract doesn't end just your minimum contract term has ended. To leave you need to give 30 days notice to cancel as @bristolian says.
If you don't your contract will continue on a rolling monthly bases and may increase I f any discounts expire with your minimum term.
