Monthly charge higher than agreed

I ordered a new device online and it was meant to be delivered within 48 hours as there were no indications it was out of stock. It didn't arrive but that is not really an issue. Took around 8 to 10 days to de delivered  The issue I have is that when I signed up the price was £29 per month but my first months bill is at £31 with no explanation for the increase. If this was one off I could accept it but I am now in 24 month contract at that rate

In the bill you pay for 1 month in advance PLUS for the 1st bill the few days from when you received the device to when the bill was issued. By looking at your bill breakdown you should be able to see the dates & corresponding charges.

I know how the EE bills work and pro rata charges each month. Its the tariff I am being charged that I queried. I signed up for a phone advertised at £29 per month but I am being billed for £31 per month  but there is no explanation for the increase. That was my question why am I being charged more than I signed up for
