Been offered a realisable price for 100GB with 3rd party provider. But wanna move my number from EE to that provider. I’m in the 14 day period. So how do i go on to cancel my contract without losing my number

@AndyC271 : As you want to keep your number, text PAC to 65075. It will respond with your PAC. Give the PAC to new provider. This will have the effect of cancelling your EE contract. At the same time phone CS within your cooling-off period to inform the that you are cancelling it within the cooling-off period.

Hi @AndyC271
Just to add to @XRaySpeX's brilliant advice, if you upgraded to a new device with us, we'll need to get the phone back to us before you can leave.
Just head to our returning your device within 14 days to find all of the ways to cancel your upgrade and return the device.

Thanks for letting me know @AndyC271
If your sim is a 30 day rolling contract, just text PAC to 65075, then pass your PAC on to your new provider, which will then cancel your contract with us.
If your contract is longer than 30 days, then just head to our Cancel a new SIM card web form, then when you've filled it in, our team will get back to you within 72 hours and confirm we've cancelled your SIM.

No problem @AndyC271
You have up until the end of your 14 day cooling off period to decide what to do.

Hey @AndyC271.
If it was a brand new contract you went for as opposed to an upgrade, usually the two options would be a cancellation within 24 hours, or a PAC being issued.
It wouldn't be possible to swap over to another provider with your number and keep the EE account open with a different plan and number, you would need to reapply.
Upgrading customers can revert to their previous plan then regrade on a new plan, and whilst this isn't normally possible for new contracts, it's worth giving us a call so we can ensure all options have been explored.
