I have been a customer for years. I have been happy with my contract and payment plan most of the time.
Every so often they try to reduce my data allowance but have always reinstated it.
Now they are trying to increase my monthly payments by 400% without my permission.
They told me in July this was going to happen in August. After lots of phone calls they agreed to change the contract to a similar price to my current plan. When I tried to confirm, they failed to reply to my emails. Then they sent me a message stating I was allowed to keep the old payment plan.
I spoke to billing and they agreed that there was nothing on my account re an upgrade and i was on course to keep the same payment plan for the foreseeable future.
Today I got another message saying my new plan was delayed and it would start n September.
I want to keep the current payment plan.
I have not agreed an upgrade as I had it confirmed I can keep the current plan
I cannot get through to anyone on the phone to discuss.
I do not need this hassle every month.
Why keep sending me these messages threatening to change my billing?
Is there any way of getting this sorted? How do I contact someone to sort this?

Hi @juliamaud
That whole situation seems very odd, are you sure you're speaking/communicating with EE.
If you're out of contract then in accordance with your/network terms and conditions EE can move you to another tariff giving you 30 days notice.
Thanks

Good afternoon @juliamaud.
Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community.
We don't have access to your account via these public forums, but I appreciate it must be quite a shock if you feel are your prices are rising significantly.
If you're on a payment plan for an outstanding balance, this would usually be separate to the cost of your monthly contract and based around a monthly cost and timeframe.
If you check out our help page here, this will let you know all the information you need on our payment support options, and how to contact us to query things further.
