Good Morning,
I am posting here in case anyone from EE looks at these posts?
Recently someone has created a new EE broadband and TV account but has unfortunately used my deceased father’s email address on the account, so my mother have been getting all the emails to do with the account and also about returning their old equipment, which is causing her to panic as she knows hasn’t ordered anything.
I have been able to speak EE (as I am a mobile phone account holder) so they just advised not to worry and they would be sure that the account holder would contact them when they were not getting any information.
I’m just concerned that the person could end up paying for their kit that hasn’t been returned. It may even be and older person that hasn’t realised that they should be getting emails?
I have tried to contact them on their digital landline and left a message trying to explain the error.
I was wondering if there is anything that EE can do?
Thanks all
Andy

@H1973UK Sorry to say this but it’s not your problem. If a wrong email address has been used it’ll be sorted , you’ve done your bit by informing customers support.
