I have been moved from BT to EE unbeknown to myself.
I paid BT fo time for over 10 years. However EE have mistakenly reported that I have not paid for 5 months and my bill is now £445. After months of trying to get this mess sorted out EE have finally fixed this issue. However EE have reported to the credit agencies that I have defaulted for the last 5 months.
My credit score has fallen by over 100 points destroying my ability to get credit. This mistake was not of my making, it was the fault of EE. How can I get EE to let the credit agencies that it was their mistake and fix my credit score?
Also am I eligable for any compensation for the distress that this has caused me, due to the fact that my credit score has been damaged thanks to EE's mistake?

Your credit score is just a marketing ploy on the part of the CRAs.

@BazzaG56 Now it’s been resolved it’ll fix itself. Credit rating are around 3 month behind so even now it’s been rectified it’ll still show. It’s how credit rating update is the issue and that’s not down to EE. although EE might be able to do about it.
You could try making a complaint, see THIS it might help. But call customer support first before making that complaint.
