I should never have contacted EE - or is that BT?!

It has taken three attempts to renew my contracts this week. I’ve been out of contract for quite a while but that was fine. I wish I’d left it that way after my experiences this week! I am now on my third attempt to put these contracts in place! The first attempt, the guy didn’t bother to process the changes despite going through all the T’s&C’s and signing it off! I only found that out when I phoned again because I’d had no notifications, just to be told there were no new contracts in place! As a result of more wasted time on the phone yesterday I now have new contracts but with the wrong details! I could not have been clearer or more specific on the phone about what I needed! Now I’ve got to do it again tomorrow when someone can be bothered to open the call centre.

I have been with Orange/EE for over 20 years. A great company but based on my experience this week it seems BT is determined to ruin it. How very very sad. It might be time to look elsewhere when these contracts come up for renewal.

O it turns out that EE doesn’t offer Apple TV+ as an upgrade anymore!! It doesn’t seem that any of their sales staff know this, and their website says that new and long-standing customers can get it free for 6 months! Previously, no one could be bothered to tell me this.

Pretty poor show! I think it’s the ‘BT’ effect - guaranteed to ruin EE in future.
