I am trying to upgrade a Mobile phone. I'm unable because the webpage will not load (and hasn't for a few days now) the app states it cannot find my data. I need to do the upgrade online because I have a F&F discount code. has anyone had anything similar recently. The phone is out of contract. is it worth just starting a new contract and porting the number to the new phone?

@Biglloydbowskii : EE won't port nos. between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your existing no. to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your new contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.
You could alternatively move your old contract to PAYG with 30 days notice & then ask EE to transfer the no to your new contract.

@Biglloydbowskii Try clearing the device history and cookies. You can’t port a number from one contract to another contract on the same network you have to port it to a different network then back to the same network to move it to a new contract. You have 6 months to have the F&F discount applied to your account once taking out a contract/upgrade and you do this by calling customer services. Even calling customer services to upgrade they should be able to apply the F&F discount over the phone.
