I just want to leave EE. Why is it so hard?

I want to leave EE and cancel my contract.

My mum (who pays the bills) spoke to someone on the telephone, but that didn't help.

I don't know my landline number.

What do I have to do?

Gareth

Hi @Gareth566

If it's a mobile contract you need to call EE CS on 150 and give 30 days notice?

Thanks

To add, only the account holder can request disconnection. Who the bill-payer is, is immaterial.

I'm still trying to leave EE. It's a Broadband contract which my mum pays. She has stopped the Direct Debit, but the bill is getting higher and higher. She can't afford to pay anymore because she is a pensioner, but you still keep adding to the account. I haven't got a phone or mobile. Why is it so difficult to cancel? It's making my mum ill.

Hi @Gareth566

Our broadband team would need to place a cancellation notice on your account.

Are you aware if your mum is the account holder or if the account is under your name?

The account holder would either need to call or visit the local store so a member of the team can help further.
