Full Works Sim-Only for £29

I'm currently on a iphone allrounder for £22 for 6 months, EE keep sending me notifications that I can upgrade to a new phone+sim deal or sim-only deal

Going through the options  and  can get Full Works for £29 on Sim-Only is this correct, could I upgrade to that or is it another line as the CS person wasn't very helpful and said I can't upgrade when I explained I was getting this offer from EE and it's in my app on my mobile, so it is being offered to me. But I also noted there a similar product further down the list but for £48

if i order the £29 version is it an upgrade or add-on as the app is reporting as an upgrade

Yes that tariff seems to be an upgrade option, it is very well priced so I can see why you wouldn't be so sure. Seems to be part of the EE Winter Sale.

Just double check it is in your basket as an upgrade and if the order submits and doesn't state an early upgrade fee you should be good to go with it. Worst case scenario the order gets bounced.

Technically the system shouldn't let you go for it as it is a lower priced tariff than your current.

when it goes into basket it shows as unlimited plan at £29 - the £48 plan shows the same info

hope it doesn't get added as an extra line

Won't get added as an extra line as it's an upgrade order, so it would worst case just fail or try to charge you an upgrade fee.

Even if it were to be added as an extra line you could just call CS and cancel it, but as long as you're in the upgrade screen you're fine.

@Matt_124

just update -

noticed when went to watch something on Apple TV+ last night, they had already removed the subscription even though the new subscription is not setup. Hopefully will be done within the next few hours as does say allow upto 24 hours for it to be activated.

Thanks for the update here @walkerx.

If you're able to, can you log into the EE App and select Manage > Mobile & SIMs > select your number, then see if the new plan you've selected is showing there?

If the old subscription has been removed this is a good sign that the plan has switched over to the new one in our system.

Good morning @Den123 😊

We don't have access to your account via these forums, so I wouldn't be able to say for sure myself what options will be available for you right now.

If you reach out to our customer care team though, they can look over your details and recommend what we can get sorted out.

Hi @Peter_W

The app was showing I had the new package, but never got any messages from EE to say that the Apple One was now activated, I finally found this via going through my phone, seeing subscriptions under apple account and selecting option to import subscription from EE

Also during the process, it never mentioned about any early upgrade fees, does this mean there are no early upgrade fees to apply as don't fancy getting an unexpected bill.

My account in app just shows projected for next month is £31, so I'm assuming there aren't any fees to pay

Thanks
