Financial help due to ill health

I recently had some health issues, and time off work which I had to take to recover, the first half of the year has been terrible for me. I had payment plans sent up for me to help pay what I owe on my bill, however not working and lack of income has left me with a £800 debt, I have asked for help, now I have returned to work and fully recovered, there is no option for a payment plan only a promise to pay, but expecting to pay £800 lump some is ridiculous. I’ve been so proactive in communicating my problems and financial issues due to not working, and only offer a promise to pay. Which it I was to pay the full amount, would leave me with a hole in my pocket and unable to pay for essential items and bills. I’m back working fully now with a regular income. I just wish @EE could help me more. I’ve raised a complaint about this, as I’m willing to pay what I owe, just cannot well at once. And apparently there is no option for a payment plan, but considering eveything I’ve been through- and how vocal and good I’ve been at communicating they would do everything they can to set one up for me.

has anyone else had any similar issues? If so what would you suggest?
