Final Bill far Exceeds The Estimate Provided Last Month

JOHNM11

EE told me last month that my final bill would be £98. Today, I received a letter, saying it would be £197. No email contact details, ages spent on the phone, AI chat no use. Absolute rubbish system. Anyone got any suggestions?

Phone CS to query it.

Doesn't its breakdown tell you how they arrive at this figure?

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

In the paper bill it did but not in the email I received about 3 weeks ago. It just gave a total amount.

NM what they estimated 3 weeks ago, does the breakdown you have now got seem reasonable & correct? If not, query it.
